Nice to have Lost My Dog back on the release blog ... The hound really never left and has been diging away during 2014 delivering a constant schedule of excellent deep house tunes. Now for their 85th installment we are treated to a nice compilation of artists old and new. The 4 tracker starts off with Purple Chord label head Pete Da Feet  tag teaming with label friend Miami Ice. Together the work on a slamming jam, deep pulsating bassline with a slick city approach to the vocals. Underground house all the way just the sort of tune that locks the floor down tight.

Track 2 features Tainted Souls with Da Realness - This tune starts tuff and ends even tuffer Old skool electro vibes running alongside a kicking bassline. Tight and techy is the game hear the sort of tune that has many complex layers of drum programming tightly woven together.

Current guest host of the monthly Lost My Dog Web cast Nick Dare works on the 3rd track. Nick already a family friend having past releases with the label Nick knows exactly what will turn the heads and minds of the Lost My Dog label lover. Dreams Are Blue has chunky basslines that bounce around . enticing you deep in to the center of the track. Lush muted vocals flirt with you making you want the beat even more. Solid representation of what the pound sound is from start to finish. Quality !

LCS Italian cuo of newcomers to LMD deliver Keep On the final track and whoa what a winner , Slinky garage bass scoops propping up that blurry late night vocal. Perfect selection for the label.  This track takes you on a drive through any city and the kinda grind that will have basements and underground house parties pushing the scene deep in to the early hours of the morning... Just the sound i like ... !

Lost My Dog Press Words
10 years in the business have taught LMD the value of ignoring passing trends and fashions and instead sticking to the sounds they love, and this EP is another sterling example of this policy: four tracks of underground deepness, perfect 4am fodder for the basement heads, bubbling TB basslines, Detroit-esque chords, jacking beats – in other words, pure party music.
Hot on the heels of killer releases this year from Demarkus Lewis, SKMK, Sek, Awalé and Dominic Martin, Lost My Dog unleash this sublime four track sampler EP “Off The Leash” on 15th September, featuring music from a mix of new and established artists.
